iShot is designed so privacy and security reviews pass quickly: your data stays where it belongs — on your device.

On-device processing. OCR, QR scanning, and clipboard history run locally. Your captures and clipboard content are never uploaded.

Limited data. We process only what’s needed to activate licenses and run basic, aggregate analytics. We don’t sell data and don’t show ads.

Optional AI translation. The translation feature sends only the text you select to the provider you configure — never your whole screen.
